About Us
At Adesta, we are driven by the name of the company. In the Amharic language spoken in Ethiopia, “Desta” translates to happiness and that is exactly what we are looking to bring to our valued clients. Our co-founders Faiz and Adel started Adesta because they believe every business should have the ability to leverage data to guide their strategy and growth. We are on a mission to understand and solve the unique issues our clients face and develop data-driven strategies to empower their businesses to reach new frontiers.

CO-FOUNDER
Faiz Adem
Faiz Adem is a co-founder at Adesta Consulting. Faiz has supported solutions related to growth strategy, market research, business development, and customer acquisition. He has worked with companies ranging from early-stage startups to multinational corporations providing them with strategies around operations, sales, and growth.
In his most recent role, Faiz worked as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture. He has also started an educational non-profit. He received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. His interests include start-ups, community service, and reading.
CO-FOUNDER
Adel Hassen, MSBA
Adel Hassen is a co-founder at Adesta Consulting. Adel’s experience is focused on data and artificial intelligence, where he has worked in the pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and education industries. He has expertise in developing profitable data products, creating data strategies, and implementing analytical solutions to solve everyday business pain points.
Adel has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at the US Pharmacopeia and recently as a Data Science Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and keeping up with his favorite sports teams (NY Giants, Washington Wizards, and Manchester United).
